We have written History.
Tonight is a beautiful night. Tonight, the American people have proved that our nation is not lost among the progressive nations of the world. Tonight, America has become again a nation of hope. We’re not out. Not by a long shot. We are still in a recession. We are still in two wars. We are still a divided nation… but for one night… one blessed night… we can celebrate the victory of tolerance in this great nation. Tomorrow we will awaken and it will be November 5th, and we will have so far to go… but look at how far we’ve come! I am so proud of my country right now, knowing that I will be able to tell my grandchildren of this moment in history.
